Another busy and exciting day!
And so our adventure continues. Today, arrows were shot; forest shelters were constructed; giant ladders were climbed and treetop rope courses were traversed. Mrs Lowe and Miss Vermeulen took the challenge of the high ropes, showing fantastic endurance! If you look closely at one of the archery photos you'll see an arrow mid-flight, its destination? Bullseye. Well done Lily!
Also many happy returns to Mia Whitby on her 11th birthday!
Our other groups took part in survival, which involved building a shelter, lighting a camp fire and making difficult decisions about our three most valuable items! As well as survival, we also had a go at fencing (not building a fence as some children believed). This was extremely enjoyable and informative as we learnt the skills needed to play the sport .
A huge thank you to Mrs Lowe who has been wonderfully supportive to our Year 6's over the last three days. Miss Bartlett has now joined the adventure!
