And so it continues...
Apologies if some of the images are not loading. The signal out here is extremely weak (even with WIFI). We are trying our utmost to share the children's experiences with you but has proved difficult with poor signal and an action-packed schedule.
Ship ahoy! Raft building was the order of the morning and as you may imagine, the inclement conditions of mid November in the Ribble Valley made themselves known. Despite the hail and unforgiving rain we soldiered on as ever and braved the treacherous lake on board our sturdy vessels! After this we made full use of the centre's hot showers, threw on some much needed dry clothing and carried on with the day which involved an obstacle course and fencing for some and zip wire and vertical challenge for others. Miss Bartlett braved the cold and took on the zip wire with wonderful photography by Noah Owen. Confidence and morale amongst the group is sky high as we look forward to tonight's disco!
