Inclusion Quality Mark
In January 2021 we were awarded our second 'Inclusion Quality Mark'. This time it was Sally Burston, one of the IQM assessors, who visited our school, albeit virtually. She completed a full and rigorous assessment of the school’s work, met virtually with children, staff members, parents and governors. We have now received the full report which includes the following statement: "It is clear from the evidence submitted that the school have a deeply embedded commitment throughout the school to inclusive values and practice. Their school mission statement of Belonging, Believing and Becoming really comes to life as you spend time looking through the school website and speaking to all sections of the school community from pupils and parents through to teachers and Governors. Parents spoken to as part of the IQM Assessment clearly felt that their children were cared for as individuals and that the school would also support them as parents through difficult times and beyond."
Please read the report to get a full overview of the work we have done to meet the standard for this award. Obviously, we are very proud of our achievements.
